The Vermont Department of Agriculture, Food and Markets is a regulatory agency, and its Agricultural Development Division works to promote Vermont products. The Animal Health Section assists with animal health and the interstate shipment of animals. The Dairy Division deals with rules and regulations if you are involved in milking sheep. The Meat Inspection Section assists you in selling your meat directly to consumers. The Administration division assists in agricultural land planning.
