(10:00 AM to 4:00 PM - with a lunch break for exploring the Festival)

This class is for knitters with good, basic knitting skills and the ability to knit, purl, increase, decrease and follow written instructions. Knitters will learn to make a pair of mittens with wool and knit in roving as a warm, fuzzy lining. These mittens are based on an 1800's pattern found in Maine, Canada and Iceland. The technique is easy and the mittens knit up quickly. These mittens are especially warm, ideal for being outside on a cold day.

Students should bring the following supplies: size 4 and size 9 needles, measuring tape, stitch markers, stitch holder and scissors.

THE COST FOR EACH WORKSHOP IS $30.
