2003 Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival

October 4 & 5 Champlain Valley Exposition, Essex, VT

Commercial Booth Rental Agreement

Since this was the first year that we were able to hand out the vendor

applications at the festival, we are going to extend the time frame for

returning vendors. We are giving you this opportunity to reserve your space

early, but we must have your application by the 1st of May.

There will be a few changes for next year, so please take the time to double

check your application. If you want to rent a table, electricity, or need

camping information, you will need to check this on your application, and a

form will be mailed to you next summer.

Festival hours are from 10:00am until 5:00pm Saturday and 10:00am until

4:00pm Sunday.

Booth spaces will be 10' x 10' or 10' x 15' or you may double your space.

All the inside spaces will be in one main building. There will be spaces in

the barn beside your animals for the vendors bringing animals, but if you

are selling ANYTHING (with the exception of your animals), you must reserve

a vendor space.

Returning vendors will get first choice to reserve your same space IF you

return your application by May 1st, 2003.

Electricity, tables, and camping will be available directly through the

Champlain Valley Exposition. Please indicate on your application if you are

interested, and they will mail the forms to you.

Set-up information will be mailed out by the end of the summer.

RULES:

All booths must be sheep, wool, or natural fiber related.

The festival committee reserves the right to reject a booth applicant for

lack of suitability and compatibility.

We also reserve the right to reject any vendor who does not treat everyone

with courtesy.

The festival committee, whose decision will be final, shall decide disputes

arising from any cause.

All vendors understand that they are responsible for any commitments they

make at the festival.

All booth material must stay within the boundaries of the designated space.

All vendors are responsible for keeping their space clean at all times, and

for cleaning their area at the end of the festival.

Signs and displays shall not be so large as to interfere with the view of

the neighboring booths.

No animals except those that are registered and in pens are permitted at the

festival (NO dogs...Essex is very strict on this!).

VSBA and The Champlain Valley Exposition shall not be liable for any

personal injury or property damage, theft or casualty loss resulting from

any cause whatsoever occurring on the Festival premises.
